Etna DOC is one of the oldest in Italy and the first recognized Sicilian DOC. To be classified with this appellation, vines must be located in the province of Catania; more precisely in the municipalities of Biancavilia, S. Maria di Licodia, Paternò, Belpasso, Nicolosi, Pedara, Trecastagni, Viagrande, Aci S. Antonio, Acireale, S. Venerina, Giarre, Mascali, Zafferana, Milo, S. Alfio, Piedimonte, Linguaglossa, Castiglione and Randazzo.

The tour encompasses wineries, farms, accommodations and restaurants, giving the traveler unforgettable experiences, with ample scenery ranging from fresh mountain air to sea breezes. Among other things, the oragnized activities make it possible to explore the Etna area on the old Circumetnea Railroad wagon train.
